The Collectors Registry
Acquiring

For collectors acquiring.

Most of what we source is never advertised, and much of it is never listed on this site either. When a collector tells us what they are looking for — a marque, an era, a specific chassis they have tracked for years — we go looking, drawing on relationships that often predate the search itself. We hold some cars directly and can move on them immediately. For others, we act as advisor and intermediary, representing a collector's interest to an owner who may not otherwise consider selling.

Placing

For collectors and owners placing a car.

Selling a significant car is rarely just a transaction. Owners come to us when they want the next steward chosen with the same care as the car itself — and when a public sale, with its attention and its record, is not what they are looking for. We can hold a car as principal, or place it privately and discreetly within our network, depending on what serves the owner best. Either way, the car's history is handled with the same rigor we apply to anything we authenticate.

The work is judgment, not inventory.

We do not maintain a sales pipeline in the conventional sense. Each engagement begins with a conversation about the specific car, or the specific collector, in front of us.
